The cheque/check is in the mail...but you don't need one if you deposit electronically! We receive requests occasionally from supporters who would like to arrange an automatic deposit from their pay to help us and we have finally set up an account for this purpose. If you are setup for online banking or your employer has a payroll program for an automatic deduction to charities, you can donate to us by putting money straight into the account we've set up. This makes a donation much easier since you don't have to worry about mail being lost or changing conversion rates to Australian dollars. If you want to make a donation to us that is also deductable from your taxes, then you need to donate into our public fund account (not our regular account!) - the Save Our Frogs Fund. However, if you are a business wishing to take up a sponsorship, then you should still continue to use the sponsorship account detailed below. Sponsorships are tax deductable to you as an advertising expense and we have to pay GST on that money. If you want to make a donation via a credit card, we are unable to do that directly but we have an arrangement with a larger frog group to receive credit card donations for us. They have an online shop and a secure website so you can be comfortable making a donation for us. The link to their subhome page is www.frogs.org.au/groups - from there, just go to the page for the Frog Decline Reversal Project, Inc. Please note however, that credit card donations made via frogs.org.au will NOT be tax deductable! If you would like to use any of these donation options, please email us after the first time you have arranged for a deposit to provide the following information: (the email is curator *at* fdrproject *dot* org *dot* au - substitute the words for the correct characters - we have to do this so the address is not machine readable)
The details for the
sponsorship account are as follows (this is NOT the tax deductable
account): Bendigo Bank
The bank account to use for donations which are tax deductable is: Bendigo Bank If you would like to make an online donation to the Save Our Frogs Fund, we MUST have your name and street address for your tax deductable receipt. If you are making a donation of property or a large financial amount, the following details from the Register of Environmental Organisations website may be useful to you:
Just a few of the key items we are looking to acquire to facilitate frog conservation include:
Any and all help is appreciated and no donation is too small. Even a deduction of $5 per payroll adds up over the year. If you have any questions, just let us know, and thanks for your concern about our dwindling frog populations.
